Mr.Vicken Kaprelian, Chairman and CEO
Mr. Vicken Kaprelian has a considerable experience in the jewellery business. Since 1997, he is the Chairman and CEO of VK Jewellery Services SARL, a fine jewellery designer established in the Middle East. In 2003, he moved to North America and established a jewellery and diamond trade business in Canada.
Mr. Kaprelian founded KIG in 2005 a mining and exploration company specialized in gold and diamond operations. KIG also has activities in gold and diamond trading.
Mr. Kaprelian benefits from his business contacts from all around the world. Since 1994, he has maintained good relationship with his business partners and clients.
Mrs. Talar Aprahamian, CFO
Mrs. Talar Aprahamian was appointed CFO of KIG Mining in 2008. She has extensive experience as a Financial Assets Manager for prominent securities firms. She will be establishing strategic partnerships with leading global financial institutions worldwide.
Mr. Guido Di Lenardo, B.ARCH., B. SC., PMP, Consultant
Mr. Di Lenardo has been working as an executive of major firms for over 25 years, in charge of financing development and operations of major industrial, commercial and mining projects. He is an expert project manager in construction contract writing, tender calls and contract administration and cost control. He has led corporate development teams in projects in Canada, Spain, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Chad and China.
Mr. Hrayr Agnerian M.Sc. (Applied) P.Geo. Senior Advisor
Mr. Hrayr Agnerian is President of Agnerian Consulting Ltd., an Independent Consulting firmoffering geological consulting services. Since 1987, he has been practicing as a Consulting Geologist, first with Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. - now a member of the Scott Wilson Mining Group - and also as an Associate of ScottWilson Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (ScottWilson RPA). Prior to that he was a Project Geologist with SEREM LTE and BRINEX LTD. in Montreal, and also worked at junior mining companies based in Western Canada. Mr. Agnerian brings to KIG a wealth of geological experience from many countries around the world.
Mr. Guy Arbour, P.Eng., Geo., M.Sc.A, Consultant
Guy Arbour is an Exploration Geophysicist. He is also a Professional Engineer and a registered Geologist with extensive experience in association management and technical publishing. He served as Qualified Person (QP) on various junior mining companies involved in Canada, China and Africa. He is also involved in Securad inc. an international venture in spent fuel management.
Dr. David Makongo, PhD, Consultant
Dr. David Makongo PhD. holds the Honorary Degree of Doctorate of Philosophy in Humanities and a Master of Laws Degree in Natural Resources Environmental Laws and Policy. He holds a JD from the Denver University Sturm College of Law and holds also a LLB Degree. He is Founder of Makongo & African Partners LLC, Founder and CEO of United Support for Peace Corp. Has great experience in negotiation and acquisition of mining and oil and gas properties in Africa.
He was Director for African Affairs with Electrum USA LTD. (Global Gold Group) where he was in charge of acquiring mineral rights, government and local community relations. Having worked for several years in Cameroon, Guinea, Ghana, Mali, Burundi, Rwanda, Congo DRC, Niger and Ivory Coast, Tanzania and Mauritania, David is highly respected and connected in Africa.
Mr. Harry Hekimian, VP Communications
Mr. Hekimian, President of Malopan Communications with 30 years of combined experience in desktop publishing, graphic and web design, database integration, website architecture and project management. He is very detail oriented and specializes in working with clients on a one-to-one basis, adopting the latest technological developments and giving them personal and full attention. His long term clients includes Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum; City of Westmount, Sofame, Ventrol, Imperial Optical, and Stronco Group of Companies. In 1998, he was awarded a Certificate of Distinction by the National Bank of Canada as a finalist in the Small-and-Medium-Sized Business Competition in Montreal.
